This is one way to pull your engine...the picture raises more questions than it answers....at least for me......
If one thing goes wrong he might be.............and they said the "back-yard mechanic" was dead!
I agree, very impressive. As sketchy as that is, I can also admire it!
True, but they lashed on a 2x4 spruce strong back,.... just in case.I'm guessing white pine, not the best limb to use.
Me too. The whole thing reminds me of a Rube Goldberg cartoon. But in a way it's folk art. There's a intrinsic drama there. Will the snow blower be catapulted? Who did the math on the length of the lever. How are they going to get the engine to the ground? How are they then going to get the snow blower down? Why is granny in the rocker? What happens if the lashing on the snowblower end slips off the boom? Lots of questions here.I found the rocking chair under the bow (with no seat...) to be a nice touch, too.
I’m glad I read down before saying the same thing. Bravo! (Which is Italian for great minds think alike.)Archimedes would be proud.
Wile not "punkin chunkin", it might well be deamed a "blower thrower".Perhaps it's a nautical version of the time honored country tradition of "chucking".
