Anders: I just checked in to your blog
Adventures with Yggdrasil
and noticed the neat way you keep your boat upright when it's on land.
It looks like two timbers across, under the keel, and four cables, one on each end of each timber, up to the gunwale. Can you ad to this description?
I wonder if this arrangement could be used for beaching, a subject I seem obsessed with. I already have a set of wooden legs that work well, but am in the process of creating a new set made from telescoping pipes that can be stored in a locker onboard. I'm using galvanized fence rail for the prototype and if the design is successful I'll graduate up to aluminum to save on weight.
