I inherited a 20/21 foot mahogany boat a few years ago and am just about ready to launch this Spring. Very little info available and I am hoping that this forum will serve up some info.
This is a cat rigged ---1/2 mile long mast, outboard 9.8.

Several stories surfaced about this boat or it/s sister ship that it was sailed from Mobile to Cuba, anything is possible!

Looking forward to your input

Yep, a couple when I took ownership, 2 pcs looking pretty rough but just cosmetics, just completing painting for a Spring launch. I will look up pics and forward. Thanks

Could be a home-built 18' full-keel "pocket cruiser" designed by Sam Rabl and described in his 1948 book "Boatbuilding In Your Backyard." Later 1958 edition showing the boat was still in print a few years ago. Try Amazon. Your rig sounds different from the original design, though.
