I understand you can paint on your registration numbers with
a special paint designed for inflatables. My question is what do you
do with the State sticker. I would think after a few roll ups it would
be destroyed.

On our old inflatable, we used stick on numbers that I got from a sign maker (cheaper than purchasing and entire set. The numbers are still attached after several years.

The sticker was attached to a piece of plastic that was attached with a frame of Hypalon. The sticker stuck on there without any problem.

I but the state sticker on the transom of the dink. Everyone knows to look for it there.

we went with a partial solution when we bought our current dink last year. ordered custom pvc-compatible/conformable "plate" with regis nos on it. this you glue to dink. then stick on renewable state sticker. problem is the stickers came off...got two more from the state and now what do I do?

I put mine on my transom inside the boat. Noi one has questioned me about it yet.
I also put my letters on using a giant Sharpie marker. They've been on almost a year and still look good. If they start to fade, I'll just go over them again.

I used Walmart stencils and spray painted the numbers on. No fading in 3 years. If it does, I just use the same stencils and repaint. Registration sticker on transom. BrianW
