Yes..... I bought a cheap one at Target a few years back.... I like it.... much more comfortable than the foam. But here's the deal...... it's hot! The vinyl prevents air circulating underneath you. So you need a mattress pad... the quilted type.
My suggestsion is to get an inexpensive one and try it out. I paid less than $20 for the one I have. They're good for a few years of nominal use. If you like it, consider getting a more expensive one. I used the blower side of my wet vac to pump it up in about 30 secs. I also used the vacuum side to deflate it.... much faster.. and you can get it real flat.
This past year I haven't used it.... just got lazy I guess, because I've only been getting down to the boat for short stints. For a couple days or more the air mattress is nice.
