My West Marine inflatable dinghy (non Hypalon) has develpoed a crease-like indentation in one of the tubes near the bow. It is about an inch deep and six inches long. Depite the tube being inflated all the way, the crease remains. It is about nine years old and has been well cared for. It has not been run into a dock, boat, etc. A call to a local dealer did not provide much information as to the possible cause or if it is repairable. Perhaps it is time to replace. Any input would be appreciated.

No leak?

Don't worry about it. Use the dinghy until it fails and then be concerned. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Jim

Pump it up tight and leave in the sun

That will most likely fix the crease!

OH, I Wish!

Lloyd - oh, I wish it was just that easy. Although I saw one (the sun) just last week, we have had one soggy winter here in Seattle. We came just a couple days short of the all time record for continuous days of rain, and had our third wettest (most wet?) January on record. Does West carry Sun? Hilarious!
