What should be used for anti fouling paint on a Sea Eagle inflatable. Looking to keep it in the water for extended periods.

West Marine/BoatUS has an "inflatable boat bottom paint" I have no idea how/if/when it works. Anybody ever tried it?

I've used the WM inflatable bottom paint. It's not

needed. It's not a good antifoulant and it cracks and peels off. (That was in the early '90s.) Instead I use quarts of my favorite color (white) in what-ever brand is available. The cost is about 1/3. And it stays on just as good. I have an Avon RIB.

Zebra Scat

Zebra Scat is a milky thin liquid which can be sprayed on inflatable bottoms and seems to last quite well. I pull my Dinghy about every 30 days and repspray and have had no trouble yet with marine growth like Zebra Mussels. Nothing I've used on either my boat or the inflatable seems to deter the hairy green stuff which is so easy to spray off in the fall or scrub off in the shallows with brush. The Zebra Scat is easy to apply: A simple hand spray applicator, is reasonably priced and a litle goes a long way.
