In search of Stern Railing

Need to replace my stern railing on a 1983 Hunter 34 Legend. Damage do to Hurricane Sandy. Any ideas where to go?

You'll probably need to find a local welding shop and have them make a new one for you. Bow pulpits and stern rails are custom items that are specific to each boat. Hunter probably ordered only as many as they needed for production of that model boat, and there aren't going to be extras sitting in a warehouse. Unless you can find someone who is parting out a similar boat, you'll most likely need to have a new one made from scratch.

Thank you.... I've already been in touch. They were very nice. Unfortunately they don't work with Hunter. They're located in California.

If you have them made, stern rail seats would be a great addition. Otherwise, combine the build with an arch, etc.

Thanks... I'm going to get them off and try to find a place to fix them. I'm on Staten Island, NY. If anyone knows of a place that repairs them, I'm grateful.
