Greetings! The gooseneck bracket on my 1979 Newport 30-2 is about to give way. I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can find a new part that is a direct fit? Perhaps it's an original part or remanufactured? Or if anyone has one that is extra and is in very good condition and is willing to sell? Or if anyone has ditched the original bracket design once it's fallen apart and replaced with something else? Also, does anyone know who manufactured the spars for this boat? Thanks in advance, Chris.

I did contact Rig-Rite. They confirmed having no direct fit replacement. There only suggestion is to fit an entirely new bracket with different mounting points. I'm not opposed to doing that, however I thought I would explore just trying to find a new and/or used direct fit replacement first.
