North Gulf Coast Cruise 2007. I have some questions for coastal cruisers. How many of you carry a ditch bag and or a life raft? Do you carry a locator beacon (EPIRB's) of some type in the event of an accident? Being here on Lake Lanier, Georgia, I really have not concerned myself with such items, but having been raised in Pensacola I do know that when you add current into the mix, it becomes a whole differnet animal. My Dad used to say that it wasn't the gulf that was more dangerous it was the land masses and tides that caused the problems...
