After a day of cleaning our new sailboat, I am burnt to a crisp. Any ideas of where to get a bimini close to home. We are located in Belleville.

Go to the 'Store' tab, then Canvas then Bimini. Looks good to me. I have ordered canvas through here before and the quality is good and pricing better. After over 20 years with a bimini and an equal time without, I wouldn't be without one.

Most marine canvas shops will build a custom bimini. WestMarine may have an off the shelf one. Ask around at the marina.
I don't see how a bimini will help you in avoiding getting burnt while cleaning your boat. I just spent a week in Mexico in the sun every day and didn't get my fair irish skin burnt at all. I used SPF 50-70 spray on water proof sunscreen. The coppertone stuff is the easiers to apply because it has a nice wide spray pattern. Beyond that, a bimini is a great idea. Unfortunately my boat isn't amenable to a bimini that covers the helmsman due to the aft traveler. I therefore have resorted to a wide brimmed vented hat, appropriately called a bimini hat, which I highly recommend. It will keep you nice and cool and has a strap to keep it on your head when the wind pipes up. The sides of the hat are mesh so you really don't feel like you have a hat on. My head doesn't get hot from having a hat on, as often happens with a baseball cap.

Hey, Bob, here's a smile for you: I purchased a wide brim, mesh cap hat. The top was solid and the sides of the cap mesh. I'm bald. I still burned right through the mesh and had a nice red ring around my white Irish head.

but apparently their benefits are debateable. Currently I do spray my head with one of those clear pressurized sunscreens...just in case.

...I guess I still have enough hair left to prevent that! However, I certainly don't have enough left to stop me from getting burnt without any kind of head protection. I think someone needs to make a "leave in" conditioner with sunscreen for your scalp. Just checked...they do...

There was a sale on Taylor AnchorShade umbrellas at a local chandlery a couple of years back and we grabbed one. It's been great - easy to stow, put up and secure, and so far it's survived a thunderstorm and some serious wind. It also can be used at the beach, etc.
It's not a substitute for a proper bimini, especially for when under way, but it's a great low-cost sun-shade when anchored or moored.
I'm fair-skinned, and I strongly advise people to apply a good sunscreen prior to hours of daytime exposure, even if shade is available.

For doing general boat work, I recommend UPF rated clothing by Columbia and other manufacturers... far more versatile than a bimini...and protects you regardless of where you are.
make a cover out of sunscreening and use as a tarp over boat---tie to shrouds like 5 ft high or wherever when at anchor or dock and keep in the cabin while sailing with a really goood tilley or other kindahat......and sunscreen.....i have never seen a biminy that small----or i would say try used-----
I would suggest that you order your Bimini from this website. You are NOT going to get a better quality product for the price that they charge.
They have ready made patterns or semi custom. One of our fellow sailors got one for his Hunter 30 a couple of years ago and it fits like it was customer made.
The best part is they will deliver it to the marina. This is not an easy peice of equipment to transport.

We bought our bimini here, and are very happy with it. It mounts on the rear pulpit, behind the mainsheet which runs to the rear of the cockpit.
When I cam up with a custom cover for the rest of the cockpit, and the cabin while anchored or in port, they did a great and economic job fabricating it and connecting it to the bimini. Here are pictures:
