cold weather
Think it's a lot to do with what you are used to, I normally work outside year round, and in the winter, after being out all day in 10 to 20 degree windy weather, I walk in the house and the first thing I do is turn the heat down to about 55, kick my boots off, hang my jacket up and read a book, my girl, works inside all day long, and comes home, cranks the heat, grabs big fuzzy bunny style slippers, throws on her housecoat and grabs a blanket, I normally head out to the garage shortly after she gets home because it's too warm. One winter most of my crew were from florida, the michigan part of the crew are out there working in denims and jersey gloves, and the florida guys are all dressed up in snowmobile suits wrapped up so heavy they were looking like very fat eskimos. best trick for keeping warm is eat bland foods with a lot of fat, and take a motrin or asperin a short while before heading out. Best trick for cooling off is to drink some franks red-hot hotsauce, cools you off quick if your belly can handle it. stay away from it in the winter though because you will freeze, I go through a large bottle a week in the summer. I used to be the first one out on the lakes up here, as soon as the ice was gone and the sun shining, getting older and found I stiffen up too much when I get dunked in cold water anymore, so I wait till we've had a few good warm days before I hit the water now.ken.
