not experienced a leak from our aft water tank. How do you know it is the water tank and not a fitting? Yes, the cabin sole needs to come up, but we've had no need to do so. Maybe another owner can answer the inspection port question. Congrats on your new boat, we just love ours. Handles like a dream and very comfortable. Easy to sail solo. I've learned a great deal about its systems since we took ownership this spring. We learned about a P42 electrial recall from an article on this site during the purchase process. Check the archives. Not a big deal and Hunter covered all of the labor and material costs. It upgrades the main buss and shore power cables inside.
