Hi everyone,

Since I can't find a review of the Hunter 22 anywhere, I've decided to write one myself. I've already written a good deal about it, but I want to ask the community for input also.

Do any of you H22 owners or past owners have and feedback about the boat that you'd like me to include in the review? I'd be happy to specifically quote you if I use your comments if you like.

I'm writing the review in the same style as twenty small sailboats to take you anywhere and Practical Sailor. I've read the review of the H23 on trailersailor, and many things about the two boats are similar.

So, any ideas or comments on the boat are welcome.

Thanks,
Kristopher Sprockett

The H22 is a little tender so in higher winds you will want more head sail than main. I've sailed with a fully reefed main and a 155 head sail. When you see white caps you'll want a smaller head sail. I've sailed in 3 foot waves on the inner coastal waterway in Alabama with just a storm job doing over 7mph and no main and the boat still points well and no worry about a boom. You can even jib in high winds with just a head sail.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll be sure to write about the tender qualities of the boat.

Thanks again,
