jim, I draw 6 feet and was looking to visit the Rappahonick (excuse spelling) in a few weeks. Any problems. I visited a marina/resort last summer on the north side just inside the mouth and across from Deltaville. Cant recall the name or the depth at entrance. Can you help. Bob

Bob, of Annapolis

are you talking about the Yankee Point Marina on the Corrotoman River? If so it is about 8 miles west up the Rappohannock on the north side then and up the Corrotoman River. Lots of good water there all the way up to YPM. Anchoring up in Urbanna is very nice as well. Just a bit further up the river past the Corrotoman and on the south side. I am out of Deltaville (Broadcreek) and draw 5 1/2 feet. Drop me an email (site link below) :) Regards to all! -Jim- s/v Forever -Jim-

Kent Narrows

For day sails we go South into the Eastern Bay or North into the Chester River. Weekend overnights give lots of possibility from the areas around Knapps Narrows, St. Michaels, Rock Hall, Chester River, plus the Western shore in the same general part of the Bay.

Kent Island Location

We sail out of Bay Bridge Marina and love daysailing on the Bay and longer trips north and south. We'll be attending the Catalina Rendevous in June in Baltimore and that will be our first trip to Baltimore by boat.

Sassafrass, River

Takes about 50 min to get out the river then unfurl the sails and we are off.....usually sail south to still pond, baltimore, Kent Narrows,,but cant go through....St Michels..annapolis...Next year we are streaching our sea legs and hitting Newport, Block Island..around the delmarva penninsula....maybe Burmuda......working full time still,,,,,,so it only takes time.!

South River

I sail out of Selby Bay on the South River. Farthest north I've ever been is Rock Hall, where I picked up my last boat, and the farthest south is the back side of St. Michaels via Tilghman Island. Usually just daysail (sigh). Al

Warren

Herrington North

I've got a 1986 Hunter 28.5 on "O" dock of Herrington Harbour North.
