Very nice! Sometimes they look so good with a new paint job and all cleaned up you almost don't want to put them in the water......NOT!

Glad to see you northern sailboaters are finally getting in the water and hope you have a great sailing season, now living in Florida and leaving my boat in all year is so nice and feel for the northern sailors waiting to start the sailing season.

Sure looks pretty & ready to go ~~~~ _/) ~~~~

So, who gets to rig the sails? I have found a feeder to be really helpful for the jib unless you have someone else helping.

Oh, I can usually scare up one or two bodies willing to help in exchange for some goodies.:D

I've been in a little over a week but the weather has been, well, rainy! Only got two decent sails in thus far but only under genny as I seem to have misplaced two battens.

I have an earliest launch date of June 6th due to the high water on Lake Champlain. The shipyard is still unable to launch any boat. So I figure my launch date will get pushed back. Hopefully I'm in my July. The lake was dropping steadily last week, about an inch per day. But with all the rain we got this weekend and rain forecast for the remainder of the week. The drop will either stop or start to rise again.

Sorry to hear that! I'm sure that seems like a long time away.

ugh. That would drive me insane. Getting pushed up one week to April 29 killed me!

Most of the sailors on my dock keep our boats in year round and only pull for maintenance, painting, and other related reasons. I had mine out all winter since I bought her mid season last year and really wanted to go over her with a fine tooth comb. It was very frustrating to not be able to use it this winter but no one really went out this winter since the weather did not cooperate.

Hope all goes well with the launch and you have a great season!!!!

I'm waiting for a couple of contiguous days of dry weather to add another coat of paint. It's been rain or threat of rain for 5 days, sun with threat of rain for one, more rain for 6 days, one overcast, more rain. What a crumby spring. I'm probably looking at mid June now.
