Hey Will, look around for some metal shops using these tools. Also, go to your local trade school. You may be able to get lessons in Mig, Tig, and Plasma. Upstate New York has the Modern Welding School. I learned there, and they even sold me a very nice oxy/acetyline rig.
Welders, like many of us, love to talk shop. Find someone who owns a small shop.

I just gave my son my MIG welder and he immediately put this together for himself, he certainly impressed me, and the brew he makes is outstanding.

I'm pretty sure OSHA requires a full-length leather apron be worm when welding. Of course, then she wouldn't need the bikini. Thank heavens for 20/20 hindsight!
