If you have a spinnaker what size is it?

Been looking for a spinnaker for a while. I have a ring mounted eye level and a pole set to the J of 11'8". What size spinnaker do you use? I believe one with a luff of 38' - 41' is about right, am I wrong?

Sailrite says 42X21X21 for symmetrical spinnaker and shows an Assym is 42 X 19.4 X 38.8. I got an assym on Craigslist that is 43X20X38 I think. I have it in a sock.

Since I have my ring about eye level how does that impact spinnaker size (e.g. does 42' still work, or can I just dip the pole a little or let the sail bow out)?

PHRF allows SL < 42.1' and G < 21.1'. I have a symmetrical off a Morgan 33 (40.2' x 23.2") and an Islander 36 (44.2' x 25.6'), and can fly either one without any troubles. I installed a track, but the eye is usually about 5' - 6' above deck. Since neither was PHRF legal, I claimed the biggest one and take a 6 sec hit.
