The idler on a 30T (the support plate under the Edson steering pedestal) is completely rotted out. I am trying to find a used one rather than buy one from Edson. Does anyone know where I can find one?

the idler and backing plate are gonna be hard to find. I just needed one for an S37, and the only thing available that would work was new from edson. Sailors Exchange in Fl. has one, but it is from a Yacht Specialties pedestal, and will not work. I already tried that one. Edson has new ones available, for a fairly hefty price tag. I glassed mine, basically making a new plate out of fiberglass. The sheaves and trunions are brass or bronze, so they will be OK.
