Identification # for 1976 Catalina 22

I have been looking for the 12 Digit Identification number for my C-22. I have a Model and S/N plate on the back of the cockpit but have not found the 12 digit number. Can anyone help me locate this number?Bill

hello bill, the number on my 1976 "22" is located on the outside of the transom on the upper right corner and are about 1/2 inch high, and starts off with "CTYH", then the serial number, then " M76C " ( totals twelve characters).john

HIN location

The engraved HIN on my Capri 18 is in the same spot described by John R. (right upper corner of the outside surface of the transom. It's just below the rubrail.
