fenderboards...

There are enough fuel docks with pilings that fender boards are a good idea. I'm painting my boat, so I'll definitely be using 'protection' this trip! I have a 9 foot inflatable fender, and it's going to be deployed regularly, after all of this work! Oooo, Mary beat me to it.

A friend just made fender boards out of a couple lengths of larger diameter PVC pipe bolted together. Cheap, easy to clean and light weight.

I've got one made from some beautiful mahogany but it weighs a ton. I'm going with the PVC. Inflatable fenders sound good too.
