The cord of the Mic has worn out from use near the connection end. Does any one know if there is a replacement Mic cord or cord end available? Thanks

Without seeing your radio I will make a general statement. The cord can be replaced. You may need to buy general purpose cord, but I'd contact the manufacturer and try to order one. It will likely require soldering skills.

I replaced the cord in ours years ago when I was having issues with the mic. Was fairly easy and no soldering. Don't remember off-hand where I got the cord, but eventually got a whole new mic from SBO as it continued to have problems.

Ken and Scott thanks. As it turns out you can just call Carl in the parts department at Icom on 800-346-0495 between 7am-4pm PST, closed for Lunch at 11am-12pm Monday-Friday and he will happily sell you a new cord. It's even reasonable at 33.36 plus tax and shipping.
