HAs anyone done an icebox converion to refrigeration on a Hunter Vision 32. If so what are the issues ? where is the compressor located, etc, etc ? Thanks Richard

Compressor Under the Sink
My V32 had the compressor mounted under the sink. It was an AB unit. The evaporator was one that had a freezer. Personally, I'd go with the 'L' shaped one and skip the freezer evaporator since it didn't really keep things fully frozen and it does take up space. I did not install it however. Hey, Richard, where do you keep your boat? A couple of us from this board are sailing down to PV in November. Maybe we could come by. Rick D.

Rick, Thanks.... Exactly which model AB dod you install ? DO you think it could work putting it under the banquet next tot the sink cabinet and putting in a grille for ventilation ? (I do not live aboard) I keep my boat in Neuvo Vallarta which is just north of Marina Vallarta. It is a much smaller marina than Marina Vallarta BUT alot more homey. I can't help with the model or installation options since it was factory-installed. Which brings up a point: call Hunter. Maybe someone has some institutional memory.
