Ice box drain

I recently bought a 1984 Pearson 34. I love the boat but the ice box drains into the bilge. Previous owner placed a container in the bilge to collect the water. Is there a way to drain the ice box to the outside? Continuing to empty the container in bilge is a pain.

I don't know the layout of the 34, but our 33-2 has the drain connected to a hand pump at the sink in the head (our ice box is just forward of the head, so it is a very short run).
