Ice Box Drain

The galley often becomes very wet when the ice box defrosts. I can see a drain in the bottom but after many searches have not located the exit. Please help !!Regards,Rick.

Does your boat have a shower sump? If so, see it the ice box drain leads there.

On my 340 the ice box drained into the bilge. I have since routed it to the shower sump box.Scott

Into bilge

On my 1980 H37C the drain exited under the icebox directly into the bilge. It can be accesses behind the drawers (run a wire down through it) but the copper tubing of the drain did not exit enough to see. I increased the tube and routed it to the shower drain.Jerrys/v Makai
