I have just purchasrd a 25'oday. I have never owned a sail boat before, i have bought a book " how to sail for beginners". I dont know how to set it up to sail. Can anyone get me in the right direction to find some written instructions.
I'd find an experienced sailor to take you out on HIS boat. Post something on a message board at a marina etc. offering to crew on a boat like yours "mid 20's foot sloop" Book stuff is o.k., but you won't be able to use it when you're on the water. Recent water experience should give you enough confidence to start out in light air. good luck!
