That I could post a question and walk away expecting that others would jump to my beck and call and supply me with answers. No further effort would be required by me. I wouldn't even have to do an internet search on the subject. I would have a whole bunch of schmucks to do the leg work for me. :(

Even though I have the internet at my disposal, I value the words that come out of 70 year old sailor's mouth more than the hype of an internet company trying to sell me something.
I check this website before I check my email. lol

This time I agree with you Ross

Most of my friends haven't a clue as to how to surf the net. I tell them "Just TYPE it in". Duh. Then I read some of these posts and wonder how in the world these people can sail a boat, and return safely. Heck, at any given time at least 33% of the inquiry's on this site are repeats, some from just a few weeks ago.
And when you really need info, you can never get it. In my case (I know...I can hear it now..."What's a matter Mr. Know It All...)I finally found, after a week of searching and calling, that low sulfur diesel eats the seal on the fuel injection pump on a Perkins 4108.
Oh well, just resign yourself to the fact that most people are clueless, could care less about the truth, and are legends in their own minds.
