I read a post yesterday on using a cheap t-stat with marine air system. cant find it today.

anybody have any info on using a a cheap thermostat with a system? I have gathered all the pieces of my system except a t-stat. I have a marine air vector system. seems doable to me.

I think that if you check with Marine Air, any 13Volt thermostat will control your airconditioner. I changed out the programmable thermostat on my Marineair unit to a simpler digital thermostat that I purchased at Lowes. (around $45.oo) The programmable thermostat kept losing it's memory and I would have to reprogram it everytime I turned the AC on.
