Hi all, I recently pulled the Universal Atomic 5432 diesel out of my 37 foot O'day center cockpit sloop. I'm replacing all the valves, lines, etc. in the motor area and I'm looking for a place to buy new motor mounts. The mounts are adjustable so the motor can be matched up and centered to the prop shaft. Anyone know of a source for these motor mounts? I'm also shopping for a new water heater and possibly a new alternator - any suggestions or parts sources? The motor I bought has a new alternator on it, I need to see what the amp output on it is, but it's been suggested to me to have a 90 - 100 amp output or more on the new motor. Just getting the motor out has been a real experience - helped me learn allot about my sailboat that I would never have understood otherwise. I'll be glad when this is done but I've actually enjoyed the process and would be glad to answer questions if anyone else has an O'day 37 and wonders about how to get the motor out. Any info is appreciated. Thanks and happy sailing

Do a search on this site and use 100 amp alternator in the search phrase and also uncheck Oday and check none in the boat type box.....there was a discussion not to long ago on this, one of the discussions talks about dual belts, I have an Arco 60125-105 amp and a single belt but I never push the alternator (yet)

try massachusetts marine parts in Quincy, Mass. they are boat haulers, storage, and breakers- we got about 1200$ of stuff from them for our 25 for about $225 last fall!
