Mike: Don't know where in the country you are located but there should be a good canvas shop in your area somewhere. For my part I had a guy who makes dodgers and biminis make a custom cover for me. It cost a total of $1,200 and was well worth it. I take my safety lines off so the cover can slide over the stanchions. It splits on the starboard side and has splits below the shrouds. I recommend it because it can be installed by one person if necessary, and lasts from 12 to 18 years if well maintained. Patching is no problem and when a new one is needed the old one can be used as a pattern. Most of the expense is getting the correct shape and fit after that it's a cut and sew job. My builder in in Sebewaing Michigan. His company is G & B Canvas. No web site I know of. Good Luck Mike

Try two "blue tarps" cut (overlap) where they join and use duct tape to seal the mast. good Luck!

Fairclough Sailmakers
Mike Many boats in the Noank area use Fairclough cover/frames. They look excelent in quality. I talked to a couple of the owners and they are very happy with them. I gotta think if you look through some marinas down there you'll see some. See ya on LIS!

Mike, Buy a green industrial strength tarp from Ocean State Job Lot (20x30 is $40). You will need to build a frame. I use 1x3s from Home Depot. Tie it well with clothesline rope also available at OSJL. I'm on my second season. Just had to duct tape a few spots. I'll buy a new one next season. Total cost about $80.
