how many hp? got a pic? I have a pile of omc outboards. I can see what crosses over.
That engine is the same as the 20 and 30 horsepower two stroke OMC outboards of that year. Starter should be the same.
Looks to be discontinued. Could likely have it rebuilt at an automotive electrical shop that deals with starters and alternators.

The Zephyr is rated at 15 hp, but it is the same two stroke block as the 20 and 30 hp outboards of the same year.
i will dig through my old omc outboard stash and see what i have. i should have a few old 2cyl evinrudes or Johnson's. are you against a used starter if it tests good?
