I'd like to add a dodger to my H34 this winter. Can anyone recommend a fair and reputable canvas maker between Baltimore and Solomons? Thanks.

Mark Stolker from ALMO Products at the annapolis boat show...He has great products and portfolio at the show...but I dont know any of his work personally. Try the "Canvas Connection"
at Herrington Harbour North in Deale, Md. You may want to drive over and chat with them as it's only about 15 minutes from the West River. Phone is 301-889-0088 or 410-867-8856. I've had them do a few small canvas jobs for me and was happy with their work and price. Friends have had them make bimini's and were also happy with the product.

The Cover Loft
Sean at The Cover Loft built a beautiful dodger, bimini and connector for my 1985 H31 last winter. Looks beautiful and makes such a difference in making the boat comfortable for both sailing and hanging out. I thought the cost was reasonable. We're very happy.

but we've been very happy with Clarke at Quantum Sails in Solomons--he's located at Zahniser's. Our boat came with a dodger and main cover, but Clarke has added a bimini and connector, as well as hatch and rail covers, and is currently working on our winter cover. Quality work. Very pleased with
with North Sails in Annapolis. They did a nice job on our H36. As the boat was new, the actual price came in 350 dollars under the allotment.

North Sails for Custom Bimini
I second that vote for North Sails (Rob Pennington if I remember corrctly)in Annapolis. They did a great job on a stern rail mounted 3 bow bimini measured to perfectly fit our Hunter 28.5 and including a sail trim 'window'with velcrow sun shade and Bimini Boot all build to accept the split backstay and backstay adjuster.
