You guys help me sooooo much! I know i post a lot of silly S#|t, and i appreciate all your help and putting up with me and reading my long crazy posts. maybe i can help you guys out somehow one day.

i read daily, and post often. I kinda feel like a leach. how do I support this forum? i havent examined every section, but i think there might be a strore or someway to support? i mainly come to Ask All Sailors.

I hope to have as much knowledge as you guys one day. im working on it.

2 points to make...

1- If you LOVE this site, start spending money HERE whenever it's competitive (most of the time!).

2- Electrical, plumbing, painting... there are hundreds of readers that read everything that is printed here. When you ask a question (or in your case, questions!), everyone gets the benefit of the info being shared. Keep working, and keep asking. And, take a day off for the family every so often.;)

no, im not kidding. ive never really used any forums but this one. and sadly, i never did anything on this forum except click on forums and type a question. i will spend some time looking around. i have received a lot of help here, and i was asking b\c i had a feeling that i was missing the point. now i see. next item i need to purchase, i will look here first!

The best way to pay this forum back is to keep on posting your questions and have your digital camera ready to let us all know how your work came out.
Think of the way MaineSail has documented many of his projects and aspire to that degree of accuracy. I doubt you can quite mimic his style but that is the idea; a picture is worth a thousand words.
So far you have been asking a lot of questions with the info to back them up so it is all good. The best payback is the kind of feedback from having done something at least once and you are doing some stuff.
Post pictures, ideas and responses.
Advice is pretty cheap on the web but this is one of the better places to get it. Keep on contributing.
And yes, the chandelry here is not at all out of bounds in terms of prices on most things.

Truth is.... A LOT OF THE TIME - I JUST DID NOT EVEN KNOW THE QUESTIONS TO ASK!!!! DID NOT KNOW ENOUGH!!!!!
