Roger,

beautiful boat, how come you don't own one? Looks like you could take that anywhere.

How come you don't own one like this?

:)

I should have gone to Wall Street instead of boat designing. Then I could have helped destroy half the economy and bought a schooner with my bonus.

Roger, the picture and boat is worthy of a calander.

Here she is with the boat I own:

I'm not actually sure I would trade even if I could (Are you kidding? I would in a heartbeat but it would probably be a bad idea.) Strider is a wonderful singlehander I should be able to sail her probably 5-10 years longer than I could manage the schooner both on physical and economic grounds. I can't imagine a better boat for the kind of cruising I actually do. If I won the lottery and could have a boat built, she would probably be a lot like what I have now.

She's beautiful Roger, I saw a ship with similar lines up in Desolation a couple of years ago.
Well done. Glad you didn't go to wall street.

I just remembered that this is the boat that my two sons went sailing on for the first time. I was in the middle of my aviation mania and spent the daysail thinking that I could never go back to sailing. It inspired my ex. wife to suggest we get a sailboat though. Life is strange.
