Before you move, make sure the club will remain open and you will have access to your boat there. Hearing a lot of tales of folks unable to access their boats.

yes the Club which is a COOP will stay open, they have very active members so I'm told

Rideau Canal from Kingston to Ottawa would be a nice trip. Motoring of course, with the mast down, but a nice dive into history !

Or, down the St-Lawrence to lake St-Louis, go to Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue & then up the Ottawa river to Rockliffe. If you draw less than 12.7 meters you don’t have to remove your mast!
