I have a hunter 260 and the danforth a 149 031 needs replaced

where do I go to get a new compass that has the no-spin Card, lights up at night and mounts to the bulkhead in such a way as to replace cleanly the old Danforth. My goal is to either find a new one to replace the old one so I don't have a bulkhead leak and that looks nice after installation.

I am told that the A149 is no longer made and cannot be repaired due to its glue together design. the plastic ball is cracked on mine and the mechanism is loose and not working.

the danforth you currently have is a 3-3/4" bulkhead compass... any quality brand of that size should fit the hole nicely... or go to a slightly bigger compass and cut the hole bigger to fit the bigger compass....

Hey thanks. It is amazing that when i know what to describe it as (3 1/2" bulkhead compass) i can find so much more about it and i was able to locate several choices, new and used, that could solve my problem. I now have one being shipped to me. Thanks again for responding.
