to leave our Mac26X in the water (fresh water lake)for 2 months, is that okay without bottom paint? I've read horror stories of blisters, and delams. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, MBE

It is OK

I know many peole who leave their boats in Oregon lakes for 3-4 months with no bottom paint. You will get some algae growth but it wont damage the hull.

No Problems

During the summer I kept my M26 in the water (Lake Champlain and later in Calgary) without bottom paint and never experienced a problem. The boat is now 15 years old and still looks fine. The only problem I ever encountered was putting it into Lake Ontario for a summer and experiencing zebra mussels. Finally took it to a professional to get those things removed. I now have it in coastal BC with appropriate paint, but you should have no problems whatsoever with your plans. John
