It looks a bit more reasonable now that the heater brackets are in place:
The Newport heater mounts on this "pan", shown here on top of the tank being piped up:
The pan slides over the angles and is secured with three S.S. F.H. machine screws on each side. To mount, I used a hole saw to make four 1 1/2 inch holes in the portion of the bulkhead now missing and clamped the whole assembly in place and checked the location. I then removed the machine screws, pulled off the pan, and screwed the angles to the bulkhead. The pan fit back on perfectly. The slots are to slide over the pipes that will come in from under the berth to port.
The bulkhead tank will be painted the same color which is Rustoleum high temp BBQ grill paint.
Here is the the filter for the heater. It came without any provisions for mounting so I fabricated brass mounts. The flat sided elbows used for the piping are great for easy pipe mounting.
