Great Race Coverage
Dave - The film shows really Great race coverage. The winds were really strong, say 25kts and more, and the racers really slammed-banged the boats around like you wouldn't believe and with no breakage. The coverage was really high-caliber and anyone who owns a 35 or 35.5 should have a copy just incase they need to show the non-believers what these boats can do.I tried to track down a copy to duplicate but everyone who had one "lost it" by loaning it to someone they couldn't remember and then never got it back. Therefore, my recommendation to Alan based on lessons learned is to NOT loan his tape to anyone - period. I've loaned my share of things over the years and not everything was returned. Just last summer I loaned an out of print book about sailing in Alaska to my dentist, wrote my name on the inside of the cover in pencil, and he says he doesn't remember ever getting it from me!!! That leaves a real sour taste in my mouth (no pun intended). Alan, it's your tape and you can do what you want but don't say I never told you.I'd be willing to pay for a DVD too and if you find someone who can make good copies - burn at a slow speed so it will last or use a good commercial machine, I'd pay extra.Hey guys, it is a really GOOD flick! And it's my personal biased opinion, the best Hunter has ever made.Suggestion about posting emails: to avoid spammers harvesting them try doctoring them up, say, use name"at"internet provider"dot"com, or something like that. The spammers software will automatically pick up the standard syntax. Can I say it one more time? It's a GREAT flick!
