I trapped the critter and just for you, Fred I released him on shore away from my slip. He was last seen scurrying away in a south bound direction

You did not give him directions

to Bremerton - did you? He will need to go through Olympia or else catch a ferry and the fairy workers don't like mice.

Thanks for the update Ct.

Patrick, he's in Oklahoma. I've heard of a lost dog making the trip out west when lost but not a pet mouse. :) And I'm not sure what some of those ferry workers would think of being called a fairy.

Fred, my post was not a misprint

Check it out sometime. I believe it to be true at least on the Vashon to Seattle run. There is a very real network on the ferries here. It is a real fairy tale. They used to jury rig steam baths on the boats which had longer runs and had a good time for most of the trip. I think the management put a stop to it and it is for some reason not feasible on the newer "Citrus Class" boats. Did Mickey show up yet?
