Looks like a total "WASH OUT" for this Holiday weekend here in the Northeast. What a bummer! After 5 days of rain and more on the way, I think it's time to consider more Southern Lattitudes.
Right! Last weekend was fantastic. This LONG weekend doesn't look good. We'll have 4 adults on board our brand new 320----with the low temps and probably rain, we'll certainly be good friends by the time we go back to work! Speaking of Southern Latitudes---at least these are the same people we spent 10 days with bare boating in the BVI's!!! Oh well, who cares. They're bringing the Pussers Rum.
Mark, not all of N.E. has had the washout, we've had beautiful weather all week in the low 70's. Last Sunday, still cool on the water but the winds were 15-20 kts. on Penobscot Bay, no clouds, and not a soul around. One more nice day due tomorrow and then your weather is finally suppose to drift up here in Maine. Sorry, but I had to correct you and rub it in a little, don't get to very often. Hope your weather clears.Tom 28.5, 87'
is the place to be this weekend. Temp: 80s, skies fair slight chance of rain. But then we're having one of the worst droughts in history. Nevertheless, predicted winds 10-15, southerly. The lake is cleaner now then in the last 20 years, the water is warm enough to bask in and the weekend looks great for our sailing adventure. Wish you were here!Marv OttoKobold Goldemar

Phil,The late Emmett Watson would be really disappointed with you for misrepresenting the Seattle weather forecast. Everyone knows that it is always raining in Seattle.
My office is on the 11th floor facing south, and I look out toward the bay on the beautiful weekday weather, partly-cloudy skies, with perfect winds. Then the weekend comes...We had one heck of a storm come through here yesterday (Sat.). We had only been out for about 1-1 1/2 hours when a huge bank of clouds and rain that had passed over earlier stalled just on-shore, and came back over us combined with a front. Fortunately we got back in before it hit. Tomorrow however the forecast is clear, 89, 10% chance of rain and winds out of the south at 15. It's nice to have a weekday holiday fake-out the weather...JoeS/V Charis
After EIGHT years of no rain, I'm jealous. Our lakes are low and the forcast is grim. Count your blessings. (When you hear it's raining in Texas, remember, Texas is a large state.www.longhornbill.com
