I some what forgot my log on name at Defender. I needed to see what kind of bottom paint I purchased over two years ago so I can just roll on some of the same and know it is compatible. I tried every combination of user names and passwords I use. Nada.

I tried to have the site email me the password but it says my email addresses are unknown....... crap times two!

I finally try different case sensitive versions of my user name and hit a winner!! so I am in and I can view my purchase history. Now I need to write the type I have on there so I have the record in case I cannot get back to my purchase history. God knows how many papers I have lost lately so I pull open the drawer and get a sharpie. Now I can never get rid of the computer desk I built.

The angle to write was a bit odd, so please excuse my hieroglyphics.

Somebody will buy that desk from goodwill ten years from now and wonder what the heck that means.

My handwritting is very poor and when I was in radio school I made notes on my schematics. For an exam the instructor came up one clean schematic short and borrowed mine and gave it to a guy across the room. I watched him turn the piece of paper around and around. After the test he asked what language I had written my notes in. Said he couldn't decipher a single word. lol

wowl, and I thought a log in was A Word! no wonder you could not remember it! I have to keep my life much simpler.....but I also might write it inside a drawer! good idea.

All my user names are in my address book on Outlook....password remains the same for all with a few variations and I always figure it out and all my computers have the answer if I need to look

I put them all on a spreadsheet. My mind's been gone for years!

What kinda bottom paint is SLIME? :):):) (second line)

I also put all that boating stuff on another spreadsheet. Just being an engineer...

ACT ablative slime fighter. After I wrote it, I thought I better never show it to my fourth graders.

Rather than keep the desk, just re-name the boat with the type of bottom paint. Ie.. act ab. SLIME FIGHTER The paint type would always be handy..

(I had to deal with incompatible ablative paint this spring - extremely not fun.)
