My best gues is....

Me thinks Daryl is a regular on here just messin with everyone. Thats why the 'Daryl/USA'. Also I would guess it was meant to be humorous and not serious. Which brings to mind an age old question....why dont everyone register on here and fill out a profile? Your sailing/repairing experience will have more credibility. I have my profile filled out and will include my marina and slip if anyone wants it. Then if i tell of a method such as a varnish, you can come by and see for yourself. Then, if you think it looks like crap, you can come back on here as Daryl/USA and be anonomous. You dont have to be an expert on a particular topic and still give good advice. I have seen 'experts' and people that do the very thing in question for a living, and they dont have a clue as to what they are talking about. And rank amateurs have made great contributions. Register and fill out profile NOW. Phil Herring works very hard at maintaining and improving this site. Give him the courtesy and respect he deserves. BTW Mainsail.... very well put. Maybe some will become believers some day. Tony B
