Spring is over and summer has begun. I dropped my Catalina 27 "Kid Napper" in to a very chilly 41 degree Lake Erie this morning at about 8:30 am, 29 Degrees - No wind. She was ready and looked good. She floated and the engine started right up. I still had to go to work before noon but I got the sails on and motored around for a bit. Saturday I will sail and I am looking forword to It. Man had it been a long and cold winter. Skip

Going in tommorrow!!!!!!

My April 18th launch date got pushed back due to the nasty Maine spring we have been having.. Oh well, the 25th is not bad although the weather outlook for this weekend is more crap... -Rodd C. The link below is to my sailing home page...

Nice web page for your boat

Rodd - I believe we met last spring while you were looking over your boat on the hard at Hewitt's Cove. I was the guy who just bought the O'Day 25 a few feet away. From your website pics, it looks as if you were busy on board all last year. And having a lot of fun! Anyway, we get wet a week from Monday, it's been a tough spring here, but I'm looking forward to a little sailing in a couple of weekends. Fair winds! Geof
