Forgot the keys!
I dont like combination locks because you cant see em at night. Even with an led light at my age I might forget the combination. Here is a simple solution that works for me. Take the
companionway lock key and put it on the ring with your car keys. You can leave the rest of
your boat keys on a hook hanging in the cabin. After you open the cabin put the keys in your pocket. Unfortunately if you have a key ring with 10 different keys super market cards and
other do dads like my wife has this wont work because you wont want a big bulky key ring in your pocket all day. I carry 3 keys my house key, my car key with remote attached and my
keyed alike boat key. The keys always stay in my pocket.
