For the past year (as mentioned in Earnie's earlier post) I've had to remove the airlock in the keel hydraulic cylinder by opening it, dropping the keel fully down, then pumping 100 strokes with the value open, then closing the value and raising the keel. She'd work fine for a month or so and I'd have to do the drill again. Now, I'm having to do this each time I go sailing in order to raise the keel before heading into shallow waters to get home. Has anyone gotten to this aggravating point with their keel? It must be the wiper seal on the cylinder that's giving up. Has anyone else had the seal or the whole -Sailtec unit replaced? Any input would be appreciated. Bob
