Hot water
First, you have to have the right water heater. It must have the internal coils for utilizing the engine water. Next you remove two plugs on the engine and install hose nipples or barbs. One plug is atop the water pump and the other is along side the water pump on the engines left side. You then route hoses between the new nipples and the water heater. Be sure that you evacuate all the air from the system. This is sometimes tricky if the water heater is above the engine. If the water heater is any good you should be getting plenty of hot water on shore power. There is generally an adjustment on the heater thermostat that can be tweeked to get a different temperature.
