Hurricane Marty did $11,000 damage to my boat in Marina de La Paz on Sept. 22. Today, Oct. 18, I received a check for $10,250 ($750 deductable) from Zurich Insurance (through Vagabundos and Agusto Insurance). We had claims forms within 3 days after Marty hit. Within 4 days an adjuster flew down to La Paz, photographed the boat, and sent in his report. Got a phone call last week that the check was being cut. They even said if additional damage is discovered to let them know to reopen the file! The only way to judge an insurance company is when you need them...Zurich came through quickly, and completely. I cannot stress the ease of working with this company and their support. Jack Swords
