Hurricane Katrina may well total my 28.5 of only 7 months. The adjuster will look at her on Wednesday. She has a lot of great stuff on her as she was built for cruising comfortably. I've been told I will be given a chance to mitigate my losses by retrieving items from the boat if she is totalled. I was thinking I might be able to help out my fellow 28.5 owners in the forum. Can anyone think of any hard to find items I should liberate if the boat is totalled and I am able to salvage some parts? Since I won't have a boat for awhile I would be selling them cheap plus shipping. A list would help me know what some of you might need. By the way, She's a 1989 28.5. The roller furling is shot but the sails were resewn in 2004.

I had one stanchion damaged during Rita and need to replace it. If you can take pictures of them, they may the same as for my H31. Can any one confirm if they are the same? If they are I'll buy one from you (although I am not sure I want to pay their weight in gold
