There are probably 3 S2s in Morgan Marina at the west end of Raritan Bay NJ.
None of them started where they ended up. At one time all three were on the ledge but 2 fell off without damage. One tough boat mine is in the middle. 3 missing sections of rub rail, beat up gel coat, a few chunks out of the keel. That's it.

Couple things.

Welcome to the forum.

Secondly, sorry for your losses. It is just stuff. Stuff comes and sadly, also goes sometimes. A little work, you will come out pretty good, compared to what could have happened. Lots of folks on here are close by to you. Hopefully they come out ok as well.

You now have a winter storm with 50mph winds and wet snow. Ice in places. So many still without power.

Fema figured out they could call Sandy a storm and not a hurricane as it hit land, so the media says they are closing down help stations. This as another storm hits.

Sorry to hear about your damage. Hope your insurance is covering everything. Don't forget to check the bulkhead tabbing for damage.

Wow, that sucks. I had an S 2 8.5 meter that looked a lot like the one in your photo. If the keel joint is cracked & the rudder is bent or broken at the post they will likely total these boats. Too bad as S 2 were better built then any other boat I've owned. I hope that someone buys them back for salvage but if there are too many laying around marinas just tend to crush them to get em out of thier way. You might see if one of the totalled boats can be bought for parts as S 2 specific parts like the bow & stern pullpits, mast & boom are hard to find. Good luck.
